Protection of Indigenous People

Indigenous people are native to our country the Philippines. They usually live in the mountains, like the Cordillera and Sierra Madre. They managed to retain their culture and livelihood activities. But since we are in the modernized era, there are many things that they can't keep up with, for example in Education. Although some are given the chance to finish their studies, there are still many of them who do not even know how to read or write. Another one is that they often lack legal ownership of their land, which can affect their lifestyle. We should be more appreciative of our fellowmen because they have contributed so much to our country. They protect our nature, enriching the local arts, and more. If we do this, we can have a peaceful relationship towards each other which can help us to build a better future for our country.
